About the event

Tripp is a highly popular and astonishingly gifted pianist who also composes and arranges music. Tripp has performed at United Methodist Church of Sun City Center several times. In January, 2015 he performed as half of the popular Gospel duo, Kaptivating Keyboards with Scott Griffin, a “dueling pianos” type of act. He has been back many times since. Tripp overcame a childhood full of difficult health challenges that almost took his life. He has made up for lost time since with a lifetime of accomplishments, especially for his young age. In 2015, for example, he conducted a bicycle charity tour by riding his bike 3,000 miles across the United States for a non profit named Kids Alive International, performing piano concerts along the way. He embraces many styles and genres of music including jazz, gospel, classical, country, patriotic and Latin, among others. Tripp is a native of Clearwater, and began studying piano at age 9. His talent has taken him around the world, as he has been performing full piano concerts and recitals since he was 14. Tripp engages his audience, and his life stories will amuse you, sadden you, and inspire you, but always entertain you. You don’t want to miss this amazing pianist.
