About Us

The college was established in 1976 as the Community Church College by the United Community Church. In 2019 it moved to the United Methodist Church of Sun City Center and the name was changed to

In 2021 the school became a ministry of the church.

The Center operates as an adult education outreach program to serve the entire community and surrounding areas. The school is fulfilling its purpose in providing the area with the intellectual stimulation it seeks.

The purpose of the program is to inform, entertain, and inspire. A broad curriculum of subjects is offered to serve the interests and needs of its students. All courses are taught by highly qualified instructors drawn primarily from the South Shore regional area. Along with our educational programs, we also offer stimulating trips and tours.

By offering non-credit courses, students benefit from the stimulus of lectures and discussions in an informal and relaxed environment.
