Grief Recovery Support Group
If you've lost someone close to you, or know of someone who has, please call us to find out more information about a weekly GriefShare seminar/support group. We know it hurts, and we want to help.
To register call the church office at 634-2539 church office to register. The next seminar/support group will begin in the Fall.
Life Resource Center
Open to all members, visitors and community members. This is a holistic approach to help people develop plans to address "Life Issues." Participants will attend an initial counseling session with one of the three Case Managers to develop their strategies.
To begin, contact Stormy Hodel at 813-634-2539 Ext 34. She will put you in touch with a Case Manager. The Case Manager will respond to the call with the intention of determining if a counseling session should be scheduled. At the end of the first counseling session, you will have a plan for a solution. Depending on the specific situation, the counseling session may occur at the church or off site. Post Polio Support Group
Post Polio Syndrome Support Group of Southern Hillsborough County in Florida was founded by Carol Norris Vincent at Sun City Center United Methodist Church in January 2001. The PPS (Post Polio Syndrome) group continues to meet every 3rd Thursday of the month for the months of September through May. They meet at the church on 1210 Del Webb Blvd. West from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM..
PPS welcomes anyone from the community who has had polio, or just would like to know more about the syndrome. We have some informational meetings as well as fun meetings.
