As furrther encouragement, especially to our newcomers, a new ministry is now available. Life in Faith Together (LIFT) is a four session opportunity to explore the spiritual disciplines. LIFT will also help you understand the spiritual gifts God provides to his followers to enable us to see how we can best serve in ministry. And, LIFT will provide a look at how we United Methodists understand our relationship to God and to one another.
DISCOVERY
In January, the long standing “Discovery” class has become a one session introduction to the church and its ministries - a time to get acquainted with the pastors and with some new friends.
LIFT
Lift is the avenue folks take to become members. Each of the four sessions will stand alone, but we ask that you start with Discovery and then finish all four sessions of LIFT before you are received into membership.
I encourage you to take this opportunity to grow in your faith and to make a commitment to membership here at The United Methodist Church of Sun City Center. You will be blessed with new friendships and with new tools with which to continue your journey of faith.
Make this a place where you can “Come… Belong…. Grow…. And Serve. Be intentional about finding ways to satisfy the thirst for a deeper spiritual life, a closer walk with Jesus.
