Vacation Bible School Thank you to all of you who donated your money, resources and time to make this year’s VBS such a big success! You made a huge impact on these kids hearts forever. CUB SCOUTS
Recently, we started a cub scout pack and it has really taken off. With a consistent 25 boys coming weekly, we have one of the largest packs in the area. Just from cub scouts alone, in 2 weeks we received 5 ESL students that were the parents of the boys. Uniforms are an important part of cub scoutsand most of the families we have can’t affordthem. We are asking this month that we focuson either partially sponsoring or fullysponsoring a cub scout. To get a uniform, go on 2 outings a year (one including a weekend camping trip) and for their supplies it will cost the boys $175 a year. We would like to help as many boys as possible. They will also be doing some fundraising during the year as well as helping at church events as a way to give back. Please think about giving a priceless gift that these boys will never forget. Just write July mission on your check and continue to pray for these ministries. We also have begun girl scouts at our church as well. They take the summer off but as of August we will have 2 troops meeting here. One led by our own Amanda Jordan. They will be doing several project around the church including a summer camp this summer one day a week for six weeks. These girls are currently saving up for a trip to This is an exciting way we can reach into our community and make a difference.
